Call it chili oil, chili sauce, or chili crisp, you will want to add this Chili Love on everything! It’s umami packed with the right amount of smoky heat with spoonfuls of textured chilis and flavoured oil. There are over four types of chilis, including fragrant Szechuan peppercorns to give the Chili Love its unique taste and texture!
There is no MSG in the chili oil, and the ingredients are shelf stable on your counter for a few months or up to 6 months in the fridge.
The Chili Love pairs well with Mary's Happy Belly Dumplings and all your favourite dishes. For selective dishes, we suggest adding a touch of soy sauce, red/black vinegar or fresh chillies to the chili oil.

Chili oil is a popular condiment in China that is typically created by pouring hot oil on a combination of chili powder and chili peppers. Additions to the chili oil can vary by region including Shaanxi, Hunan, and the Sichuan province.
It is a condiment that is part of the distinctive sauce in the popular ‘dàn dàn noodle’ dish.
Mary’s Happy Belly brand is about positively, happiness and love, and this was the inspiration behind our chili oil, “Chili Love”. Our technique in creating the chili oil is more than just pouring hot oil onto peppers, to help create the unique texture that is both a paste with small chili bits.
Inspired by traditional Chinese chili oil, we created a version that is versatile. It can be used as a dipping sauce, to top any dish, or combined with other ingredients such as fresh garlic and hot peppers. It screams umami with just enough heat.
