These are umami packed dumplings that are all about the flavour! The dried shiitake mushrooms were dehydrated and braised to bring out the naturally sweet and earthy flavours of the mushrooms. Mushrooms shine in this dumpling alongside local mushrooms, spinach and vermicelli.

Chinese Dumplings (aka know as jiaozi or gau ji) has a history that traces back over 1800 years ago. In China, it is a traditional dish eaten throughout the year, and a must during Lunar New Year. Dumplings are a comfort dish that is also nostalgic. Many families have all members of the household create dumplings together.
